Amy has worked in public relations for more than two decades, including at a multinational public relations firm, at a Fortune 500 aerospace and defense contractor, and a tier-one research university.
She is expert in positioning high-growth technology companies with go-to-market strategies, including tailored messaging, investor relations, crisis and reputation management, media relations, hard-hitting digital content, and thought leadership.
Among her communications campaigns, Amy has identified and promoted developments in basic and applied research in areas such as bioengineering, computer science, and advanced materials. She has led crisis communications and reputation management for a catastrophic air disaster, mitigated data security breaches, and worked with tier-one media for organizational damage control as a result of national news. She has worked with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to promote the evolving semiconductor sector, and has also supported various technology startups and startup accelerators.
Amy received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in sociology, and a master’s degree in strategic public relations from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communications.
Amy sits on the board of the Flight Test Museum Foundation based in Edwards, Calif., which serves to promote and preserve the celebrated flight tests and technological developments at Edwards Air Force Base. The foundation is building the nation’s first museum dedicated to flight test pioneers and experimental air- and spacecraft.
