Barbara Hill began her accounting career in 1988, and in 1994 she expanded her career responsibilities and followed her passion to finance and operations in the marketing-services sector – where she has been ever since. She rejoins Jackie Townsend Konstanturos after working together between 2000 and 2008 at Townsend Inc. and JHG Townsend. Leveraging her expertise, Barbara handled financial management of the JHG and Townsend Inc. merger, as well as GA Communication Group’s asset purchase of JHG. She most recently worked at GA Communication Group managing the day-to-day operations of the San Diego office, including office operations, budgeting, revenue forecasting and AP/AR functions. She is a CTEC (California Tax Education Council) Registered Tax Preparer (CTRP) and earned a Professional Certificate in Accounting from the UC San Diego Extension. She attended Wayne State College, Wayne, Neb.

A passionate volunteer and community leader, Barbara serves as treasurer of San Diego Altrusa Club Foundation, a nonprofit, philanthropic club of Altrusa International Inc., a worldwide volunteer service organization devoted to contributing to human well-being through the development and implementation of effective local community service programs.
